Service Dogs Saving Lives was recently featured on WWSB ABC7’s Empowering Voices for a special story about Josie and the lessons she helps teach children about kindness, compassion, and the important role service dogs play in people’s lives.
The segment highlights how Josie’s story gives children an approachable way to learn about empathy, understanding, and the bond between service dogs and the people who depend on them.
For Service Dogs Saving Lives, education is an important part of the mission. Helping children better understand service dogs creates more informed, compassionate communities and gives families an opportunity to talk about kindness, inclusion, and helping others.
