Service Dogs Saving Lives: A Lifesaving Mission with Love, Compassion, and Dedication
Our mission is to educate, save, and improve the lives of those living with mental health challenges and prior self-harming tendencies by providing highly trained service dogs as a vital lifeline. SDSL focuses on raising funds for training scholarships and service dogs while allowing the partner organizations to concentrate on training and selecting deserving individuals. The profound impact of a service dog on a person’s life is undeniable, with data from partner organizations showing that the incidence of suicide and mental health complications among veterans and first responders dramatically decreases after receiving a service dog.
By educating our youth and communities about healthy, lifelong self-care practices, our mission reduces the stigma surrounding conversations about mental health. Help Service Dogs Saving Lives turn tragedy into hope for others and be lifesavers by supporting their mission to alter lives through the power of education and service dogs. Join this compassionate and loving journey to make a difference in the lives of those affected by mental health challenges.
We hope you will join us for our third annual “Hearts & Heroes” community event honoring our veterans and first responders. You can help us save a life.
